Gauley Gaming Esports ("GGE", "we") runs this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you register a team, why, and how we look after it.
1. What we collect
When a team registers for a tournament we collect:
- Team details: team name and team tag.
- Captain details: full name, email address, phone number, and Discord username if requested.
- Player details: real name (if requested), in-game name, game UID, and role (if requested).
- For paid tournaments: the payment transaction ID and a screenshot of the payment.
We also keep basic technical records (such as the time of submission) to protect the site from abuse.
2. Why we collect it
- To run the tournament: reviewing registrations, checking players, organizing lobbies and contacting captains.
- To verify entry-fee payments.
- To let teams check their registration status.
3. What is public
Once a team is approved, its team name, tag and players' in-game names may be shown on the tournament page. Contact details, game UIDs and payment information are never shown publicly.
4. Who can see your information
Only authorized GGE staff can see contact details and payment screenshots. We do not sell your information.
5. How long we keep it
We keep registration and payment records for [period, e.g. 12 months] after a tournament ends, then delete or anonymize them.
